Katie’s story · founder of Soleva

I made it for us.

Ten years into hygiene, I was finishing my eighth patient of the day when I caught my reflection in the op window: shoulders rounded, head craned forward, loupes sliding down my nose. I looked like a question mark in scrubs.

My neck burned on the drive home, and some nights I was too sore to get down on the floor and play with my kids. I tried everything: stretching between patients, a new saddle stool, chiro visits I paid for out of pocket. But nothing helped during the shift, when I needed it most.

The posture braces I found looked like medical gear, dug into my skin, and showed right through my scrubs. So I made my own: a soft, breathable, no-underwire bra that gently reminds your shoulders back all day, invisible under scrubs and comfy enough for a 10-hour schedule.

It's not magic, and it won't fix your back on its own. It's backup for the body that's carrying your career.

I made it for us, the hygienists who lean in all day and still have 25 years to go.
